         ABOUT

Relativity Space was founded by Timothy Ellis and Jordan Noone in 2015 with the aim of disrupting 60 years of aerospace manufacturing. The company is developing the first, and only aerospace platform to integrate machine learning, software, and robotics with metal 3D printing technology.

Stargate, which is the company’s proprietary machine, is the world’s largest 3D metal printer. The printer used to produce the first entirely 3D printed launch vehicle Terran 1 and fully reusable, entirely 3D printed rocket, Terran R. Its ultimate goal is to send its printer to Mars to become the first company to print its rockets on a different planet. Relativity Space was awarded the last available test and launch site in the U.S., which requires rigorous vetting from governmental agencies. It has secured multiple government and commercial contracts from the likes of NASA, The U.S. Space Force, U.S. Department of Defense, Lockheed Martin, and many more.  The company is backed by notable investors such as BlackRock, Tiger Global Management, and Fidelity Investments.
