         ABOUT

Redwood Materials was founded by JB Straubel in 2017, U.S., who was the CTO of Tesla for 15 years, instrumental in developing its battery technology and Gigafactory. The company recycles lithium ion batteries at a 95% recovery rate and produces battery components such as Copper Foils and Cathode Active Materials. Today, Redwood Materials finds itself at a critical juncture, driven by the convergence of the electric vehicle (EV) revolution, battery material shortages, and the growing demand for sustainable battery recycling solutions.
